First ALUMNI MEET of CSE Department was held on 24th April, 2005.All Alumni of CSE depaertment were invited with their family.The meet was great success as number of alumni from various organizations attended the meet.In the meet Mr. Parvinder Singh was elected President, Mr. Chander Kant was elected Vice President,Mr. Mukesh Arora was elected Secretary and Mr.Shakti Sudhir was elected Joint Secretary of Alumni Association. Report of First Alumni Meet

Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized its first Alumni Meet on 24th April 2005 to enhance the knowledge by interacting present students with older students, those are at various positions in Private Sector/ Teaching/ Consultancy Group or running their own business. It was really a tremendous experience for students and department when around 150 pass out students of M.Sc., MCA and M.Tech made their presence to mark the 24th April, 2005 an unforgettable day. After filling the registration form the Meet started at 11:00 AM by welcome address of Chief Guest Prof. Naval Kishor (Dean, Faculty of Engineering, GJU Hisar). After energetic refreshment all the Alumni addressed the Meet one bye one by presenting their views, their memorable days during study and guidance to their present junior. It was really beneficial for students. After a healthy Lunch at 2 PM, the Cultural Programme started that was a present for Pass out Alumni from their Present Junior, really a memorable event, a balanced mixing of Song, Dance, Mime and Bhangra. All enjoyed in a decent way. Again after refreshment the Interactive Session started, really a Mind-blowing hour in which Students clarify doubts by asking their career oriented queries. All Esteemed Alumni really behave as Esteemed when clarifying every doubt of their juniors. The long period of 8 hours seems to be very short for such a strong interaction between Alumni and students so at the next time the Meet will be supposed to be organized with cultural night Kshitiz ( A culture fest exclusivly from CSE Department GJU, Hisar). All the Alumni feel to be much honored when presented by Alumni Kit and Momentum from Department side. To carry-on this bond strongly, the Meet itself decided its Committee with its prestigious member as follow.
